When does the application portal open?

The application portal will be available during the AMYLA filing period: February 1st - March 30th. AMYLA only accepts applications once a year. 

 

Are there any costs associated with applying for AMYLA?

$30 application fee (non-refundable, required for all applications and payable with online application).

 

When is the application deadline?

Because of the growing popularity of AMYLA we encourage students to complete their applications during priority filing or submit them in a timely fashion.  Individual applications will not be reviewed until all documentation has been received and files are complete. The Priority Application Deadline is March 30th.

Can i apply early for consideration?

At this time, our application portal will only allow you to apply if your child meets our eligibility requirements at the time of submission. The nominee must be a high school student in the 9th or 10th grade. 

 

I'm having technical difficulties completing my application. What do I do? 

Click on the “Help” tab in the applicant portal, or send an email describing your exact technical difficulties to applications@amyla.org.

 

Do I need to respond to an acceptance notification?

Yes, instructions of next steps will be detailed in your acceptance notification email. Please follow all instructions within the allotted time to ensure your admission to the program. 

 

Does AMYLA offer a waiting list?

Yes, a member of AMYLA's Administrative Team will follow up with you to provide next steps.
